PHILADELPHIA – Cincinnati basketball players Antoinette Miller and Ilmar'l Thomas had a decision to make last week during AAC media day.
They slipped away to lunch while their coach, Michelle Clark-Heard, talked to reporters, and returned with food. Without asking, Miller and Thomas provided exactly what Clark-Heard said she would have ordered.
"How great is it that y'all know your coach?" Clark-Heard said. "I appreciate you."
Entering Clark-Heard's second season, everybody involved, it seems, understands everybody else.
