NASHVILLE - The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team fell behind 8-1 early in the game but eventually overpowered underdog Georgia State 68-53 here Saturday, in an NCAA Tournament first-round game at Bridgestone Arena.
Sophomore guard Jarron Cumberland led No. 2 South Regional seed UC with career highs of 27 points and 11 rebounds, as No. 15 seed Georgia State eventually was worn down by the Bearcats.
