MEMPHIS – Cincinnati football lost Friday to an AAC opponent for the first time in more than a calendar year.
The No. 18 Bearcats fell 34-24 to No. 17 Memphis, snapping their eight-game conference win streak and losing homefield advantage for next week's AAC title game.
UC won't wait long for the rematch.
The two teams will meet again next week at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium for the conference championship.
