TAMPA – No. 17 Cincinnati football once again escaped disaster on the road.
The Bearcats overcame another second-half, double-digit deficit Saturday, defeating USF 20-17 to clinch at least a share of the AAC East Division title in front of an announced crowd of 29,100 at Raymond James Stadium.
Kicker Sam Crosa nailed a 37-yard field goal as time expired, his second game-winner in the past three weeks.
