Defensive back Mumu Bin-Wahad of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, has decommitted from the University of Cincinnati.
Bin-Wahad, a three-star 2022 cornerback, announced the decision Tuesday on Twitter following the recent departure of defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman to Notre Dame.
"Due to coaching changes at this time I will be de-committing from the University of Cincinnati and reopening my recruitment," Bin-Wahad said. "I want to thank Coach Fickell (head coach Luke Fickell), Coach Elliano (cornerbacks coach Perry Eliano), Coach Freeman and the rest of the staff (and) fans for believing in me. This is not goodbye but at this time I must step back (and) make sure I am making the best decision for me and my family.
