Hayden Moore is the man, but his friend Ross Trail is absolutely determined to push the University of Cincinnati football quarterback competition to the wire.
UC junior Moore is No. 1 and sophomore Trail is No. 2 as the Bearcats go through preseason workouts, which began this week at Nippert Stadium. Moore has far more game experience, but Trail started two games in 2016 and his pedigree includes a four-star ranking by ESPN while in high school.
UC coach Luke Fickell said he will let the competition play out during camp, as the Bearcats prepare for their Aug.
