MEMPHIS – For the second time in as many seasons, the University of Cincinnati squares off with the Houston Cougars in the championship game of the American Athletic Conference tournament. Tip-off is set for 3:15 p.m. Eastern with the NCAA Selection Show following the game.
Houston swept the regular season series from Cincinnati winning 65-58 at the Fertitta Center and spoiling UC's Senior Day last Sunday at Fifth Third Arena, 85-69. UC is going for back-to-back conference tournament titles for the first time since 1995 (Great Midwest) and 1996 (Conference USA).
