In his weekly press conference, Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Luke Fickell spoke extensively about his player’s perseverance in the face of all the strangeness of playing in the COVID19-era.
“Guys are getting used to difference. A little bit of adversity,” he said. “Once we walked in the building [Nippert Stadium], I don’t think there was a whole lot of difference. Guys are used to wearing masks. “
“We’re finding our way to still do the things we need to do,” he said, speaking of last week’s home opening win against Austin Peay.
This Saturday, the #13 Bearcats host #22 Army at 3:30 PM at Nippert Stadium in a showdown of ranked teams which will air on ESPN.
