Longtime University of Cincinnati soccer coach Hylton Dayes has resigned, UC announced on Friday.
“After reflecting long and hard on my last few years here at Cincinnati, I feel now is the time to step away and allow the new leadership the opportunity to bring in a new coach,” Dayes said in a statement. “I've cherished my time as a Bearcat and feel it's the right thing to do; to give the program a fresh start with their new AD. This is a very difficult decision, but one I am at peace with.
