University of Cincinnati football head coach Luke Fickell said this game was going to feel more special than bowl games the Bearcats have played in recently.
Facing No. 9 Georgia (College Football Playoff ranking) in the Peach Bowl at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, the Bearcats (No. 8) are playing in their first New Year's Six bowl game since the 2009 season.
UC is coming off a 27-24 win over Tulsa in the American Athletic Championship game on Dec. 19.
