NASHVILLE - The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team will be playing Georgia State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament here today, with tip-off at 2 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena.

UC (30-4 entering the game) is seeded No. 2 in the NCAA South Regional. Georgia State (24-10) is seeded No. 15. The Bearcats are 13 1/2-point favorites, according to Las Vegas lines.
Since 1985, NCAA No. 2 seeds have a 125-8 record against No. 15 seeds in NCAA first-round games. That includes Duke's 89-67 win over Iona in a first-round game Thursday.
