LAFAYETTE — As a freshman, Jalen Monrrow showed up to Lafayette Jeff as a 6-foot-2, 215-pound freak athlete.
Bronchos coach Pat Shanley knew he could use that kind of size and athleticism.
Two years later, a stronger and faster Monrrow now at 6-4 and 275 pounds is a Division I football product with still one high school season remaining.
Monrrow verbally committed to the University of Cincinnati on Tuesday.
"I just felt at home there," said Monrrow, who took two visits to the campus.
