Former Sycamore High School, University of Cincinnati Bearcats and Major League Baseball standout Kevin Youkilis paid tribute to his father, Mike - a former Knothole Baseball coach, UC graduate and baseball fans who died earlier this month.
Youkilis shared the following about his dad on Twitter and talked about his first Opening Day without Mike during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show":
Mike's legacy.com obituary suggested that in lieu of flowers, those looking to pay tribute can donate to a scholarship that has been set up for a local youth baseball player to attend and play at UC.
