As John Brannen preps for upcoming games, the University of Cincinnati men's basketball coach attempts to watch opponents play against teams that resemble his Bearcats squad.
That, Brannen said, gives him the best feel to plot the plan of attack.
During American Athletic Conference (AAC) play this month, a common team has emerged during Brannen's film sessions.
"I find myself scouting against Houston a lot during the course of preparing for other teams," he said.
"They play similar to what we do, in terms of the way we want to do things defensively and offensively.
