Mick Cronin rarely got off the bench, which is rare for the fiery University of Cincinnati basketball coach. The No. 11-ranked Bearcats had it that easy Monday night in a methodical 83-51 destruction of winless Alabama State.
Senior forward Gary Clark had 14 points and seven rebounds to lead UC, as Cronin played his reserves freely. Junior wing Jacob Evans III had 12 points for UC and freshman guard Trevor Moore came off the bench for a career-high 11 points.
Attendance was 7,012 at Northern Kentucky University's BB&T Arena, the Bearcats' temporary home while Fifth Third Arena is being renovated.
