The Indianapolis Colts put running back George Winn, a former running back for the UC Bearcats, on injured reserve on Tuesday, and signed Daryl Richardson, the team announced Tuesday.
The 26-year-old Winn signed with the Colts early in August - his eighth NFL team (along with the Giants, Lions, Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Patriots and Texans). He had 74 rushing yards on 23 carries with Detroit in 2014-15 and has been active for 19 career games.
Winn had 1,334 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in 2012, which ranks among the top seasons for a running back in UC Bearcats history.
