Following Cincinnati’s loss to BYU on Thursday (I’m sorry, we’ll try to put this debacle out to pasture after this post), one of my Twitter followers and I got into a good ol’ fashioned debate about UC’s handling of Hayden Moore in the fourth quarter. You know, when he was getting sacked for the umpteenth time.
Or eight, whatever.
His position, and it’s certainly a valid one, is that benching Moore for Gunner Kiel would have been detrimental for his long term development. That it would have been such an emotional shock to his system that it would have set him back.
