One of Cincinnati's top out-of-conference opponents for the 2020 football season will no longer be on the Bearcats' schedule because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Big Ten Conference announced Thursday a conference-only schedule for its fall sports programs, which include football, for the upcoming season.

That means Cincinnati's scheduled Sept. 26 matchup at Big Ten opponent Nebraska is off, at least for now.
"We are facing uncertain and unprecedented times, and the health, safety and wellness of our student-athletes, coaches, game officials, and others associated with our sports programs and campuses remain our number one priority," according to a statement from the Big Ten.
