Houston Rockets rookie and former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Gary Clark made a pair of 3-pointers, grabbed four rebounds, contributed an assist and blocked a shot in 10 minutes of action in his first NBA preseason game on Tuesday night, a 131-115 win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Clark's blocked shot of Jevon Carter - who, ironically, played college basketball for legendary UC head coach Bob Huggins at West Virginia - was especially impressive:
Clark, the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year in his final season at UC, wasn't drafted but signed a two-way deal with the Rockets in June just after the 2018 NBA Draft.
