ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit assessed the University of Cincinnati Bearcats' College Football Playoff chances during a conversation early Sunday with Scott Van Pelt on "SportsCenter," explaining that UC has the potential to make CFP history if it continues to take care of business this season.
"The most important thing to remember about what a Group of Five team needs to do is they need to not only take care of business in their conference," Herbstreit said. "They need kind of a perfect storm. ... They need some credibility from the year before. Check. They need a non-conference schedule that gets everybody's attention.
