For Melvin "The Helicopter" Levett and several other former University of Cincinnati basketball players, it's time to jam.
Former UC standout Levett on Saturday will lead a team of former Bearcats into the fifth annual TBT (The Basketball Tournament), a $2 million winner-take-all event that is airing on ESPN's family of networks this summer.
The UC "Bearcat Jam" team will open TBT play Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Midwest Regional at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. The No. 8 seed Bearcats will play the No. 9 seed Matadors, a Texas Tech team, with coverage scheduled on ESPN/ESPN3.
