The Big 12 Conference – the home conference of the University of Cincinnati beginning July 1, 2023 – has its new commissioner.
The Big 12 announced Wednesday that former Roc Nation executive Brett Yormark will replace outgoing commissioner Bob Bowlsby on Aug. 1.

"Phenomenal selection by the Big 12," Cincinnati Director of Athletics John Cunningham said in a Twitter post. "The Bearcats are looking forward to working with Brett. He is a dynamic leader and a great fit for the ever-changing collegiate athletics landscape.
