The Cincinnati Bearcats are expected to name passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli their new offensive coordinator, according to multiple reports Monday.
Mike Denbrock, UC's offensive coordinator for Luke Fickell's first five seasons as head coach of the Bearcats, left earlier this month to join Brian Kelly's LSU Tigers staff.
The Enquirer's Keith Jenkins wrote Jan. 3 that promoting Guidugli to OC seemed like the most logical move for Fickell.
Guidugli, 38, a former Highlands High School standout who played quarterback at UC from 2001 to 2004, joined the Bearcats' staff in 2017 as running backs coach.
