From the video vault today is a scene from Bruce Lee’s Game of Death (1978), a film that was released five years after the martial arts legend’s own death. Game of Death was pieced together from footage shot for an uncompleted Hong Kong kung fu film starring Lee.
Why is this showing up in the video vault? Check out Lee’s opponent in this fight scene, former UC Bearcat Hugh O’Brian. O’Brian starred in the 1950’s tv show The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. At age 17, he enrolled at the University of Cincinnati in 1942.
