UC announced that Fox Sports Ohio will televise the Cincinnati Bearcats’ home opener against Alabama A&M, the first in newly renovated Nippert Stadium.
This game was slotted for ESPN3 for a little while now. Really that wasn’t ever in doubt. I’m not even 100% sure Alabama A&M truly exists as an American collegiate organization let alone fields a football team. Their coaches could very well walk out on Saturday evening without a team behind them for all I know. So making this game only available through streaming was probably always in the cards.
So the fact that it’s been aired on TV, albeit within the borders of Ohio, is a huge boon for this program.
