Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Jacob Evans III, a guard for the Golden State Warriors, is part of a blockbuster deal in advance of the NBA trade deadline that sends him to the Minnesota Timberwolves and also involves D'Angelo Russell, Andrew Wiggins, Omari Spellman and draft picks, according to a report via Twitter on Thursday from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Golden State has agreed to trade D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota for a deal that includes Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to Timberwolves too.
