Former UC golfer to play in women's PGA Championship

For the second consecutive year, former University of Cincinnati golfer Hillery Wilson Sence will play in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The major tournament is June 29-July 2 at the Olympia Field Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois.

Sence, 31, qualified for the tournament after tying for fifth at the 2016 LPGA T&CP National Championship at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. With the top eight finishers earning a KPMG qualifying spot, Sence carded a three-round, even-par 216 including a final round 71.

In this year's KPMG, more than 150 golfers will compete with the top 70 making the cut for rounds three and four.
