For roughly 40 years, a group of former University of Cincinnati athletes, mostly from basketball, have converged on a local restaurant in the morning hours for coffee, breakfast and conversation that often leads into the lunch hour.
Some you may remember, some you should remember and younger invitees pop up periodically for a Bearcat history lesson. Their current gathering spot is the McDonald's on Mitchell Avenue in St. Bernard. On a recent visit, Coach Wes Miller's UC basketball Chief of Staff Chris LePore showed up to provide current updates.
