LSU Head Football Coach Brian Kelly was fired following a 49-24 loss to the country's third-ranked team, Texas A&M. The Tigers are 5-3 (2-3 in the SEC) on the season with losses to No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 7 Ole Miss, and No. 9 Vanderbilt. Their only notable win was beating Clemson on the road to start the season when they were ranked No. 4 in the country. The Clemson Tigers are now 3-4 and in 11th place in a bad Atlantic Coast Conference.
Brian Kelly was formerly the Cincinnati Bearcats Head Coach from 2006-2009, before leaving the Bearcats for Notre Dame, notably before the biggest game in Cincinnati's history, the Sugar Bowl against the Tim Tebow Florida Gators.
