A year after joining his alma mater's coaching staff under Luke Fickell, Walter Stewart has officially been named to Scott Satterfield's new University of Cincinnati collection of coaches. Now 32 years old, Stewart will be a defensive assistant helping the line that returns junior Jowon Briggs, redshirt junior Eric Phillips and redshirt freshman Dontay Corleone.
“Walt is an outstanding coach with a knack for connecting with young people,” Satterfield said. “As I have got to know him the last few weeks, I have seen his passion for the University of Cincinnati and that passion is contagious.
