Former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout James White expressed concern with the state of the program with a tweet Tuesday, suggesting that he thinks too many players have departed or declared that they will do so without good reasons or a plan.

The Enquirer confirmed earlier - per Keith Jenkins - that freshman guard Mike Saunders Jr. will join fellow UC guards Gabe Madsen and Zach Harvey in the transfer portal.
White, nicknamed "Flight" because of his leaping ability, transferred to UC from Florida after his freshman season with the Gators and sat out the 2002-03 season.
