Former UC Bearcats baseball Star Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs is not a certified meteorologist, but he did his best to deliver a game-day forecast during a recent visit at The Weather Channel studios in Atlanta.
He's hitting .233 with five homers and 14 RBIs in 113 plate appearances so far this season. He hit a home run against the Marlins in the first at-bat of the Major League Baseball season.
On Opening Day, he was one of 10 MLB players from Greater Cincinnati high schools and/or colleges.
He also gave away Cubs' Opening Day tickets to a lucky fan who sent a picture wearing his jersey.
