WEST HARRISON, Indiana – Two years removed from his first career touchdown as a University of Cincinnati quarterback, redshirt junior Evan Prater now finds himself catching passes instead of trying to throw them.
The starter behind center for UC's last two games of 2022, Prater's position switch was officially announced while coach Scott Satterfield was at Big 12 Media Days in Texas.
When a lingering shoulder issue kept him off the field for much of spring ball, the former Ohio Mr. Football elected to make the switch to stay on the field with his teammates.
