Four games in, Luke Fickell continues to learn on the job.
University of Cincinnati head football coach Fickell was taking a 2-2 season record into Saturday night's 7 p.m. home game against Marshall, in Fickell's first year with the Bearcats.
Coming off a 4-8 season, UC fans are giving Fickell some leeway. Fickell said that no one in the program was satisfied with the 2-2 record, while adding progress is being made. With UC players living it daily, what have they seen from Fickell since the season began?
"I wouldn't say his expectations have changed," said David Niehaus, UC's starting senior center from Colerain High School.
