On Thursday night, Houston Cougars senior quarterback D'Eriq King set an FBS record with his 15th consecutive game with a rushing and passing touchdown.
On Monday afternoon - after King was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his effort in a loss to Tulane - King's father, Eric, told KRIV-TV's Mark Berman (via Twitter) that D'Eriq would redshirt the rest of this season, leave Houston and transfer.
