When asked during media availability how to prevent "something strange" from happening in this year's Crosstown Shootout, University of Cincinnati basketball head coach Mick Cronin pointed to Kerem Kanter's performance last year.
Kanter, the younger brother of NBA player Enes Kanter, scored 17 points in last year's Shootout. Cronin characterized the performance as strange because the younger Kanter made shots, but was a player who "never makes shots," Cronin was quoted as saying in a tweet by Fox 19's Jeremy Rauch.
