The fallout from Eddie Gran, one of Cincinnati’s best recruiters, leaving for Kentucky has begun. 6’3″ wide receiver Andrew Parchment from Fort Lauderdale, Florida has decommitted from UC. Scout’s Corey Bender was the first to break the news.
This was bound to happen. Like a head coach, when a coordinator leaves for a different job, previously committed recruits falling by the wayside. In some cases, like this one, the impact is even deeper.
Parchment committed to the Bearcats way back in May of 2015. He was one of the first recruits in Cincinnati’s 2016 class and since he made his announcement picked up offers from the likes of North Carolina State, Tulane, and South Florida.
