With slightly over a month until March Madness begins, two of the hottest teams in the American Athletic Conference heat up the hardwood Tuesday night at Fifth Third Arena.
The University of Cincinnati has been a tough out at home and is coming off a big 89-82 road win at Temple. SMU comes into town with big momentum after handing No. 20 Memphis a rare defeat at the FedEx Forum. The Mustangs closed the game out with a 15-0 run.
UC is 8-0 against SMU at home and won all three contests last season, including a quarterfinal victory in the AAC tournament.
