There might have been a rainier game in the long University of Cincinnati-Miami football series, but no such game came to mind as the two schools prepared to meet for the 123rd time Saturday night.
UC (1-0) and Miami (0-1) were set to meet at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Cincinnati Bengals' Paul Brown Stadium downtown, with heavy rain expected all night. Torrential rain fell most of the day in the Cincinnati area Saturday, with several rounds of heavy showers expected to dump nearly half a foot of rain on the Ohio Valley region through Sunday night.
