Whyle, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound junior, led the Bearcats with 353 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season en route to earning second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors and third-team All-America accolades from Pro Football Focus.

Whyle's 28 catches in 2020 were a career high.

Whyle entered last season with two career catches for 51 yards. He surpassed that in the 2020 season-opener against Austin Peay, totaling three receptions for 61 yards and notching his first career score in a 55-20 win over the Governors.
