Cincinnati Bearcats rise in final AAC football power rankings

The University of Cincinnati rose from the basement in the final American Athletic Conference football power rankings of the 2017 season.

UC finished 4-8, thanks to a 22-21 win over Connecticut in the season finale. A glance at this year's final rankings, as voted upon by AAC beat writers:

1. Central Florida (11-0, 8-0 AAC): As coach Scott Frost prepares for Saturday's AAC championship game there continues to be speculation he might leave for Nebraska, where he was quarterback and won a share of a national title in 1997. "I’d be hurt if Nebraska weren’t interested in me," Frost said.
