The 9-1 University of Cincinnati Bearcats team is headed in the right direction in both national college football polls.
UC climbed six spots to No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 and three spots to No. 20 in the Amway Coaches Poll after a win Saturday against South Florida, up from 25th in the AP poll and 23rd in the Coaches Poll.
Last week, the Bearcats returned to the AP Top 25 as well as the top 25 in the Amway Coaches Poll following their 42-0 rout of Navy. UC had fallen out of both polls two weeks earlier with its first loss of the season.
