The University of Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team will not play the multi-team event that had been scheduled with Duquesne and Loyola-Chicago in Indianapolis, according to a report via Twitter on Thursday from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
The event was in jeopardy with Loyola-Chicago's announcement last week that the team paused activities because of COVID-19. Andy Katz reported that Ramblers head coach Porter Moser said his team would not play in the MTE.
UC's schedule on gobearcats.com remains "under construction and will be released as soon as it's available.
