Cincinnati Bearcats land commitment from former Wake Forest forward Ody Oguama

The success of new University of Cincinnati men's basketball coach Wes Miller's offense is predicated on having two post players who can run the floor. Miller now has the players at Cincinnati to do that.

Miller picked up a commitment Wednesday night from former Wake Forest forward Ody Oguama. The 6-foot-9, 225-pound Raleigh, North Carolina, native averaged 7.6 points and 5.4 rebounds as a sophomore for the Demon Deacons last season before entering the transfer portal.

Oguama is the seventh commitment Miller has earned since taking over the Bearcats program last month. Oguama is the 12th scholarship player on Cincinnati's 2021-22 roster.
