University of Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner this season became the first non-specialist in program history to be named a consensus All-American.
Now, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound junior will forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
Gardner announced his decision Tuesday in a post via Twitter, saying, "It's been a pleasure."
"Bearcats Nation, thank you for your support these last three years," Gardner said. "You are the best fans in the world and I will always cherish the memories I have of going undefeated at Nippert Stadium and playing on the biggest stages with you cheering me on.
