The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team is in the middle of one of the longest novel coronavirus-related breaks that any team in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) has had this season.
The AAC announced on Wednesday that the Bearcats' game on Saturday against No. 8 Houston has been postponed due to "positive COVID-19 cases and the ensuing contact tracing of student-athletes at Cincinnati."
UC (3-7) hasn't played since an 82-76 loss to Wichita State on Jan. 10. Only three teams in the AAC have had a break this season that lasted longer than 15 days, and now that list includes the Bearcats.
