Cincinnati Bearcats football team ranked No. 14 in latest AP poll

The Cincinnati Bearcats fell from No. 13 to No. 14 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Sunday.

Cincinnati opened the season Saturday with a 55-20 win over FCS opponent Austin Peay.

Senior running back Gerrid Doaks scored four touchdowns and junior quarterback Desmond Ridder added two scores in the victory.

UC is one spot behind No. 13 UCF, which leaped the Bearcats in the poll after opening its season with a 49-21 victory at Georgia Tech on Saturday. Cincinnati was picked to finish second behind the Knights in the American Athletic Conference preseason media poll.
