Since graduating from UC, Sean Kilpatrick has had several opportunities to prove himself at the NBA level.
His professional career started out with the Philadelphia 76ers, playing quite a bit in his first Summer League out in Las Vegas. But the 76ers never took serious interest in him. As a result, Kilpatrick bounced around the D-League for a while, primarily with the Golden State Warriors, who were loaded two-teams over with talent.
So it was probably a relief to the former Bearcat to be signed and given the opportunity to play with the bottomfeeder Minnesota Timberwolves on a 10-day contract at the NBA level.
