The Cincinnati Bearcats have a critical game tomorrow night when they host the 12-5 Memphis Tigers, a team that has had a fairly similar season to UC. In general, they’ve beaten every team worse than them but lost to every team better than them on their schedule, including #8 Oklahoma, #24 South Carolina, and #23 UConn. Even those to Ole Miss and Texas-Arlington might prove to be “good” losses.
The same can be said of Cincinnati, who’ve suffered losses to Butler, Xavier, Iowa State, and SMU, teams that have all been ranked in the top 25 at one point or another this season.
