Last year I had a little fun with a new website called how-old.net. It’s a clever little time-waster of a page that uses some kind of facial recognition algorithm to figure out the age of the person or people in the photo. Sometimes it’s in the ballpark of their actual age but other times, when it’s dead wrong, it’s hilarious.
And boy did I go hog wild with it.
Like I mentioned, the algorithm is sometimes right. It tabbed a photo I submitted of Oscar Robertson from the 1950’s as being 27 years old in the picture.
